New Delhi: IIT Mandi and Headquarters Maintenance Command (HQ MC) Nagpur have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on research and development in the fields of AI and machine learning.
AVM Biji Philip VSM DySMSO HQ MC, Nagpur, and Tulika Srivastava, Dean (Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy) at IIT Mandi, both witnessed the contract signing.
According to Tulika, "I am confident that both organisations will profit from this partnership and make significant advancements in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning."
IIT Mandi and Headquarters Maintenance Command (HQ MC) will work together on research initiatives, technological development, and skills enhancement in the fields of decision-supporting systems, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction under the terms of the MoU.
The arrangement will make it possible to hold joint brainstorming sessions and workshops as well as exchange visits between officers of MC and professors from IIT Mandi to talk about the collaboration projects.
The partnership will aid in developing new technologies and examine strategies for scaling up the prototypes and technologies created via the cooperation for fabrication by parties from the industry that have been mutually identified.
Recently IIT Mandi also published its research on why we humans love to listen to sad music in bad times.
