New Delhi: IIT Jammu Placements 2022 has been successfully concluded for the 2021-22 batch of B.Tech and M.Tech students. The placement drives saw a significant rise in the highest package this year. For both courses, the highest CTC has been recorded at INR 45 LPA. 
 

Despite the disastrous effect of the COVID 19 pandemic, IIT Jammu has managed to bag 83% placement offers due to the hard work of both the faculties and the students. The drive saw leading organisations namely, Amazon, Microsoft, Intel, Samsung, MathWorks extending offers to students enrolled in IIT Jammu Courses. 

As per IIT Jammu Placements 2022, more than 120 companies visited the campuses that extended 220 offers. However, the B.Tech Chemical Engineering and M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering Departments bagged the highest CTC of INR 45 LPA. The institute took to Twitter to officially announce the achievement. The tweet reads as follows:

About IIT Jammu:

This third generation IIT was established under the ‘Institutes of Technology Act’. IIT Jammu currently includes more than 100 faculty members and more than 650 students enrolled in the B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD Programmes. B.Tech is the flagship programme of the institute. Students can seek IIT Jammu Admission to the four years long B.Tech programme on the basis of their JEE Advanced Exam scores and the JoSAA counselling process. 

Currently, IIT Jammu collaborated with IIM Jammu to offer a dual degree called B.Tech-MBA and MBA (HA & HM). This way, the BTech students can transit to the MBA programme after their 8th semester without CAT score.
