New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has opened the window for JAM 2023 application revisions. By going to the JAM 2023 application's official website, jam.iitg.ac.in, applicants can edit their submission. On the candidates portal, the most recent application status for JAM has been made available.

The applications that the candidates submit are examined, and if the authorities discover any inconsistency in the uploaded documents, they notify the applicants. Candidates must make the necessary corrections before the deadline. Inability to do so could result in exclusion from the JAM 2023 exam.

"Applications will be carefully reviewed to ensure that the information provided by the candidate matches up with the supporting documents submitted, and that the photo and signature are clear. The application will be approved if all the necessary details are confirmed to be in place. If not, errors in the application will be noted and communicated to the candidate for correction within a certain amount of time, according to the announcement on the official website.

The notification continued, "Candidates will be notified through email and/or SMS of the application status and any flaws noted in the application. After an application has been received and reviewed again, its most recent status will be updated. By logging into JOAPS, the status of an application can be checked at any moment.

On February 12, 2023, IIT Guwahati will host the JAM 2023 test. On January 10, 2023, the JAM 2023 admission card will be made available on JOAPS. On March 22, the results for JAM 2023 will be posted on the official website.

Over 3000 places in PG programmes at 21 IITs will be filled using the JAM 2023 results for admission. Through Centralized Counselling for M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Tech.) Admissions, the scores will also be used for admission to more than 2000 seats for PG programmes like M.Sc. and M.A. at various NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT (CCMN).

JAM 2023 Application Correction: How to Edit

Step 1- Go to the official website - jam.iitg.ac.in.

Step 2- On the home page, click on the ‘JOAPS 2023: Candidate Portal’ tab.

Step 3- Enter the email address or enrolment ID and password. Now, submit the given captcha code.

Step 4- Now, rectify the application wherever required.

Step 5- Candidates can later on check the application correction status.
