New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar is accepting applications for its prestigious Summer Research Internship Program (SRIP). Interested candidates can apply for the program on the official website of IIT Gandhinagar SRIP 2023 at srip.iitgn.ac.in.
As per IIT Gandhinagar, students enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree at a prestigious Institution are qualified to apply for the offline internship. Interested Individuals having met the criteria can apply for the internship program latest by March 10, 2023. Earlier, the last date to apply for the internship programme was March 5, 2023.
Under the supervision of IIT Gandhinagar academic members, students will be offered a platform to work on a cutting-edge research topic for the duration of eight weeks during the internship period.
While residing on campus, students must brainstorm on the project in person and engage with the faculty mentor. The trainees will get compensation and a diploma upon completing the program successfully.
Individuals may submit internship applications depending on their respective interests and previous experience. They can apply for projects outside of their degree specialisations. At the conclusion of their tenure, participants will have to make a presentation and submit their report.
A total of 109 projects spanning a variety of subjects have been offered this year. In addition to research work, IIT Gandhinagar SRIP provides lecture series, chalk-the-talk sessions, cultural events, and sporting sessions as well as a weekly stipend of INR 2,000.
In addition to this,a total of three students will be given the opportunity to receive the Summer Study Excellence Award (SREA) of INR 50,000 each for their outstanding internship research. For more details about the program, visit the official website at .
