New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar is currently organising the 10th edition of its annual cultural fest titled "Blithchron" on the campus ground from February 18 and February 19, 2023.
As per IIT Gandhinagar, the annual cultural fest aims to showcase all of the institute's signature events along with several exciting new additions like ‘Aerosol’- a graffiti competition, and ‘Street Beat’- a solo dance battle unique to Blithchron among other events.
More than 100 students from institutes like NID, NIFT, PDEU, DAIICT and IIIT Vadodara among others have registered for IIT Gandhinagar Annual Cultural Fest 2023. In addition, students from Nepal and UK will also be attending the two-day fest at the IIT Gandhinagar campus ground.
Blithchron includes a number of events and activities for its attendees, which include ‘Panache’, a highly-anticipated fashion show, ‘Synchronize’, a flagship dance event and ‘Antaragnee’, a popular street play/nukkad natak event.
Informing about the key highlights of the fest, the official statement reads, "The two-day festival will conclude with grand performances by DJ Ravator and Sabali - The Band in Pronites, which is open to all”.
“DJ Ravator is known for his high-energy performances and unique sound with a mix of genres, including house, techno, and electro. While Sabali is a popular band known for its unique fusion of different musical styles packed with energy and passion”, it further added.
IIT Gandhinagar Annual Cultural Fest 2023 is a student-run cultural festival. It provides talented artists from all over the country a stage where they can showcase their talents and creativity. For more details about the event, visit the official website at blithchron.iitgn.ac.in.
