New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneshwar is inviting applications from students of non-IIT background for its winter internship. Candidates should be aware that it will begin on December 3 and last through December 31.

During the IIT Bhubaneshwar's winter break, the internship will last a minimum of three weeks and a maximum of four weeks. Candidates can submit their applications online by going to the institute's website. Before releasing a final list of chosen students, the institute will carefully review each applicant's application.

After considering their applications, the institute would also admit deserving students from private universities, according to official sources. "Many kids do not have the chance to attend IITs. They will experience the IIT's instructional environment and have access to its resources during the programme, according to an IIT Bhubaneswar official.

The School of Basic Sciences, Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences, Electrical Sciences, Infrastructure, Mechanical Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management, and Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering all offer internship opportunities for students. "The students accepted for internship may be granted hostel accommodation, if available, on payment of appropriate fees," reads a statement that describes the academic resources and other academic facilities that these students can use here.

According to a notice released by the institute, students are responsible for covering the costs of food and access to other services. After the internship has ended, students are required to present a report of their work. Students will receive a "Training Completion Certificate" from the institute. However, according to the official sources, it will not give any credit for the work completed by the interns during the programme.
