New Delhi:  IISER Tirupati is inviting applications for admission to its PhD Courses for the academic year 2023-24. Interested candidate can apply through the official website till november 6, 2022.

IISER Tirupati offers PhD admission in various specialisations like biology, chemistry and physics for the January 2023 session. Interested candidates need to apply through the official website. Those with BS-MS Dual degree from any IISER are eligible for admission to all programmes.

• Candidates seeking admission in any of the PhD disciplines must have a M.Sc degree with 55% marks in aggregate or 60% in aggregate in B.E/B.Tech.
• Relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ST/KM/PD candidates.

IISER Tirupati PhD Admission 2023: Selection Criteria

To qualify for admissions, candidates must have a valid score in the qualifying examination for the respective subject. The entrance exams for the courses are given below:

• Chemistry - GATE or CSIR/UGC-JRF or CSIR/ UGC NET-LS
• Biology - JGEEBILS or DBT-JRF-A / ICMR-JRF / DBT-BINC / ARS-NET (ICAR)/ UGC-CSIR JRF/ DST-INSPIRE
• Physics - CSIR/UGC/NET or JEST or GATE

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and final selection will be based on the interview and academic performance.

• Generate the OTP for future logins and logouts by submitting the basic details such as name, DOB, contact number and email.
• Fill in the personal details and qualification details 
• Candidates must upload the scanned copies of mark sheets, passport size photograph and signature.
• Pay the registration fees according to the described fees which vary according to category and submit the form.
• Make sure to take a print out of the admission form and payment slip for future verifications.
