New Delhi: IISER Berhampur has extended its deadline for PhD admissions for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, iiserbpr.ac.in. The deadline to submit the form is April 28, 2022. 

IISER Berhampur offers the PhD programmes in four specialisations that include Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Students with a master's degree or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics or in any relevant interdisciplinary area closely related to the mainstream are encouraged to apply for PhD programme.

All selected candidates for the PhD programme of IISER Berhampur will be eligible for either Institute fellowship of INR 31,000 per month or fellowship as per the norms of the funding agency, in vogue, subject to satisfactory performance in their course work.

IISER Berhampur PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• M.S/ M.Sc./M.Tech/M.Pharm/MBBS or equivalent in any discipline of Science/ Medicine/ Pharmacy /Engineering/ Technology with 60% or equivalent CGPA.
• National level exam like NET/GATE/ UGC-JRF/ CSIR-JRF/ JEST/JGEEBILS/ICMR/INSPIRE-PhD/NET-LS/Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship or any other.
• Students whose results for CSIR-UGC NET Fellowship or INSPIRE-PhD or any other equivalent fellowship are awaited may also apply.
• A relaxation of 5% will be allowed for SC/ST/PD category candidates.
• Age of the candidate should not be more than 28 years at the time of joining. Age relaxation of 3 years will be for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and 5 years for SC/ST/PD/Female applicants.

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• The date of the interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates by e-mail and the same will be available on the institute website. 
• TA will be paid to SC/ST candidates appearing for the interview as per the Govt. of India norms.

• Visit the official application portal of IISER Berhampur, at iiserbpr.ac.in.
• Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as name, email id, password, and discipline.
• Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
