The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is all set to grant a professional program in computational data science. The 10-month advanced program will help current and ambitious data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, as well as data architects.
The first batch of the program at IISc, Bangalore, will commence in January 2021 and will be available to 50 professionals from all over India, APAC, and the Middle East.
The course is being offered online through collaboration with an online learning platform Talent Sprint. It will ensure students to participate in live and interactive online classes and guide them to resolve data science problems.

- Successful completion of a bachelors’ degree
- Minimum one year of work experience
- Programming knowledge

Regarding the new course, Sashikumaar Ganesan, chairperson of the Department of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS) at IISc, said that the students will get hands-on experience in various industry case studies and capstones. They will get a chance to bring their own projects and get mentored to solve them.
