New Delhi: Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore is preparing to host its research internship program for MBBS and MPH students. The program will aim to facilitate research exposure and prepare students so that they can become future physician-scientists.
As per IISc Bangalore, interested students who wish to participate in IISc Research Internship Program 2023 can submit their applications for the same latest by February 15, 2023. The online application form is available on the official website at org.iisc.ac.in.
Candidates who will be shortlisted for the program will have an opportunity to work on a project under the guidance of IISc Bangalore faculty members. The project will commence for a duration of 1 to 2 months and will include various learning sessions.
Informing about the program, the official website informs that the internship program will include various webinar series which will feature pedagogical talks on various topics. These sessions will give participants an insight into specific medically relevant problems.

The official website reads, "Indian Institute of Science is hosting the research internship program for MBBS students to facilitate research exposure and help develop future physician-scientists in the country in the year 2022”.
“After the successful 1st call, the program is now extended to MPH students as well. Under this program, the selected students will get an opportunity to work on a project under a faculty at the Indian Institute of Science for a period of 1 to 2 months”.
