New Delhi: IIM Visakhapatnam has released the report of summer placement for the MBA batch of 2022-24. During the IIM Visakhapatnam Summer Placements 2022–24, the highest stipend awarded was INR 2.5 lakh for two months, while the average stipend was INR 80,000. As per IIM Visakhapatnam, a total of 272 students will be placed during summer placements in 2024. During the IIM Visakhapatnam Summer Placements 2022–24, more than 100 firms took part, and a 100% placement rate was achieved. The most offers were made by the IT/ITeS industry. The Career Development Services (CDS) Department and the IIM Vizag Student Placement Committee work together to conduct the placement process there. A pre-placement conversation is the first step in the placement process. Next, student submissions are shortlisted depending on ultimate placement.

IIM Visakhapatnam Placement 2022-24: Highlights 

IIM Vizag Director, Prof M Chandrasekhar said that summer internships are a tremendous method for students to showcase their creativity, analytical aptitude, problem-solving skills, agility, adaptability, and how well they gel as team members early in their careers. "All of their shared principles, dedication to social duty, and enthusiasm for environmental preservation will be extensively examined. Students from IIMV will benefit in this area. They will excel in their performance because they have been well-trained and grounded in both hard and soft abilities. Many of them will definitely receive excellent final placement offers during their summer assignments.

The students achieved the milestone despite their concerns about the recession, and the 100% summer placement results uphold the legacy of IIMV, stated Prof. Chandrasekhar.

IIMV witnessed that many new and seasoned recruiters from different fields and companies participated in the summer placement season which was conducted on a rolling basis, more than 110 firms took part and made several offers. Prof. Deepika Gupta, chair of the CDS, praised the students for their success.

"I applaud the recruiters who make our Institute a sought-after location by continuing to have faith and trust in it. We had some reservations about summer placements wrapping up on a schedule because fear of recession was so prevalent.

However, the students gave fantastic performances, and the ostensibly challenging work was completed without difficulty. I must state for the record that the PlaceCom, CDS Office, and other stakeholders' capable support allowed us to write this success tale.

Prof. Deepika Gupta expressed her gratitude to all members of the Institute family for their important contributions to this outstanding achievement.

Some of the prominent recruiters that reposed confidence in the IIMV's talent include Goldman Sachs, Adani Group, Cognizant, Latent View, EY, HSL, ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, Granules, Invesco, KPMG, Landmark Group, L&T among others.
