New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the IIM Trichy Director, Dr Pawan Kumar Singh has announced that the institute has increased its intake for MBA admission from 230 seats to 360 seats for this year.
Referring to the admission seats, IIM Trichy Director said, "We have enhanced both our academic and executive education initiatives. Our staff has expanded, and this year's enrollment will bring the overall enrollment to 410”.
“We are hiring at least 10 additional faculty members. 140 more seats will be available at IIM Trichy for the Batch 2022–24. The Ministry of Education is scheduled to provide us with funding in two instalments, each of which will be around 330 crores”, he added.
IIM-Trichy has already utilised its initial grant to develop a number of buildings at a cost of INR 30 to 40 crore higher than the authorised funds, through the production of internal income. The second instalment, though, is yet to be made available.
That indicates that we make money and maintain our institution, he added. He shared that eight new classrooms, teacher quarters, and an auditorium are being built alongside new dorms that can house 330 students for a projected cost of INR 70 crores.
IIM Trichy offers admission to its MBA program on the basis of marks secured by candidates in qualifying entrance exams such as CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMB Test followed by area-specific Interviews and PI held by the admission committee.
Candidates who wish to apply for IIM Trichy MBA Admission need to have a bachelor's degree in the required field from a recognised university. For more details about the program, visit the official website of IIM Trichy at iimtrichy.ac.in.
