New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Trichy has organised the Bank of Baroda Achievers Awards 2023 on January 27, 2023. The event was held to felicitate the meritorious students of the Institute on the campus ground.
As per IIM Trichy, the Bank Of Baroda Achievers Awards Ceremony 2023 was held in the presence of Dr Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, IIM Tiruchirappalli and Mr Suresh Gajendran, DGM and Deputy Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, Chennai Zone who joined as a Chief Guest.
Additionally, Mr M Jaikishan, AGM and Regional Head, Bank of Baroda, Tiruchirappalli Region attend the event as a Guest of Honour along with Prof V. Gopal, Dean of Academics, and Prof. Pravin Tambe, Chairperson SAC.
The event was inaugurated by Professor V. Gopal gave a welcome address, followed by an invocation song and the lighting of the lamp. In his welcome speech, he welcomed the guests and applauded the diligence and hard work of the students.
At the event, Dr Pawan Kumar Singh shared the highlights of the relevance of the three awards given during the award ceremony. The categories under which awards are offered include academics, sports, and all-round performance.
In addition to this, Mr. Suresh Gajendran shared his thoughts with the participants and motivated the students to work hard to achieve their dream. He added that the specialized start-up branches have taken initiatives to support students with an entrepreneurial spirit.
informing about the event, the official press release reads, “The event was attended by Mr M Jaikishan, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the overseas presence of the bank. He also stated that learning is always beneficial and never a waste of time”.
Bank of Baroda Achievers Awards was presented to Ms Kulkarni Mrunalini Santosh for her best academic performance, Mr Sudarshan Malga received the award for the best performance in sports, and lastly, Mr Parth Mehta Dipenbhai received the award for the best allrounder.
