New Delhi: lIM Nagpur has successfully concluded its MBA placements for the academic session 2023, where it witnessed a tremendous increase of 10.05% in the average CTC, which was offered at INR 16.74 LPA.
During the final MBA Placements 2023 for the seventh batch, more than 100 top-notch companies like Microsoft, Adani, ICICI Bank, Bank of America, BNY Mellon, Indus Valley Partners, etc., visited IIM Nagpur and hired the students for various roles.
The final placement process was concluded on December 28, 2022, where it recorded a rise of 10.05% in the average CTC to 16.74 LPA, whereas the median CTC stood at 16.85 LPA, and the highest CTC offered to one of the IIM Nagpur students was 64 LPA.
Apart from the above-mentioned prestigious companies, all the MBA students who participated in the placement process secured lucrative offers from other prominent recruiters
like ADP Mahindra & Mahindra, Yes Bank,
KPMG, Deloitte, Infosys, Accenture, IBM, Tech, TVS Motors, Loreal, Juspay, HDFC Bank, etc.
The latest data revealed that IT/ITES & BFSI emerged as the most sought-after sectors, followed by Consulting, with more
than 70 percent of the students opting for the
companies in these sectors.
Some of the most preferred roles by the students were those in Strategy Consulting &
Analytics, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Product Management, followed by roles in General Management.
Speaking about the placement process, Director lIM Nagpur, Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, said that the performance of the students in the placement process is a testimonial to the intellectual capital, new generation courses, learning ecology, strong industry partnerships, and connectedness to the corporate world offered to the students.
According to Metri, the institute is the top choice for both students and businesses due to the interaction of all these variables.
The confluence of all these factors makes the
institute the most favoured choice for students and corporates, said Metri.
Prof. Nilesh Gupta, chair of the career development services, thanked the corporate partners for taking part in the hiring process.
The students from lIM Nagpur have triumphed in major corporate competitions this year, which has enabled them to land the roles of their dreams. This is only feasible because of the distinctive learning environment that the professors and management have established at the institute, Gupta said.
