New Delhi: As a part of its CSR initiative for the people and community of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu will host a "Community Leadership Executive Course" that is going to start from March 27, 2023 and end by March 31, 2023.
It will be organized at the Canal Road Campus in cooperation with the District Administration, Kishtwar, Mission Youth, and Government of Polytechnic College, Kishtwar.
This leadership-training programme is a CSR initiative from IIM Jammu that aims to give strategic direction and visionary leadership to young people by encouraging teamwork and communication inside an organization, IAS, DC, Dr. Devansh Yadav flagged off 30 students from the Kishtwar District to IIM Jammu on March 26, 2023, to attend a five-day "Community Leadership Executive Course".
He added that the leadership training will boost the skill sets of the youth of Kishtwar and pave the path for long-term growth and development in the J & K union territory. He expressed his gratitude to IIM Jammu for its gracious support to the programme.
On March 27, 2023, Sudershan Kumar, JKAS, will open the "Community Leadership Executive Course" for the Kishtwar Youth at the Canal Road Campus in the presence of Professor B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu.
The Community Leadership Program is a component of the institute's CSR initiative for the people and community of Jammu and Kashmir, according to Professor B. S. Sahay, director of IIM Jammu.
The goal of this leadership programme is to help young people grow and improve their talents, setting the way for positive outcomes that will benefit the people and community of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Pankaj K. Agarwal, Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy (EE & C), IIM Jammu, and Drs. Vaseem Akram and Bijoy Rakshit are in charge of organizing the programme, which is supported by the IIM Jammu's Executive Education and Consulting division.
