New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore has successfully concluded the placement drive for its PGP students of class 2021-23. A total of 606 job offers were made to students who took part in the lateral and final placement drive.
As per IIM Bangalore, 512 candidates participated in the placement process. For this session, job offers were made from international recruiters including, Europe, Dubai, and Singapore, who offered roles in Consulting, Finance, and Business Strategy.
The interview rounds were carried out over two consecutive days. These companies have issued a total of 85 offers. In Finance, Adani Group made 75 job offers, while the general management section of the organisation filled a total of 86 vacant positions.
Students who choose to pursue professions in sales and marketing not only had access to 67 employment opportunities but also had the opportunity to be recruited by significant consumer goods corporations.

Talking about the placement data, Kapil Kukreja, Placement Representative, said: “We witnessed yet another excellent Placement season with an increase in offers across all sectors, driven primarily by Consulting and Product Management roles”.
“Strategy Consulting continued to be the most sought-after role among the students, followed by General Management and Product Management”, he further added. For this year, top recruiters are Bain & Company, Tata Consultancy Services and McKinsey & Company.
Additionally, Kearney, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Alvarez & Marsal, Oliver Wyman, Deloitte, Monitor Deloitte, Strategy& Middle East, GEP Consulting, Samagra Consulting, Strategy& India, Arthur D. Little and EY-Parthenon Singapore among others.
