New Delhi: Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) has started the admission process for its UG and PG courses through the IIAD Entrance Exam 2023 for academic session 2023-24. Candidates can submit the online application form at iiad.edu.in by December 21, 2022.

IIAD conducts the IIAD Entrance Exam 2023 to shortlist candidates for admission to its UG courses in Fashion Design, Interior Architecture Design, Communication Design, Fashion Business Management, and Fashion Communication specializations. 

For IIAD PG Courses 2022, the entrance test is held for admission to Masters in Fashion Design and Masters in Fashion Business Management programs. Candidates seeking admission to these programs can now apply online by December 21, 2022. 

IIAD Admissions are done on the basis of a candidate’s score in IIAD entrance exam and performance in studio simulation/ personal interview rounds. Thus, the institute has decided to conduct the on-campus and online IIAD 2023 entrance exams on December 28, 2022.

IIAD conducts the IIAD 2023 Exam in collaboration with Kingston School of Art at Kingston University, London to provide admission to the aspirants in IIAD Courses offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The scores of IIAD Entrance Exam 2023 will be used to shortlist the aspiring students for over 200 seats in UG courses and for a total of 40 seats in PG courses.

IIAD UG, PG Admission 2023: Eligibility, Selection Process

Candidates interested in pursuing UG and PG courses offered by IIAD can check the detailed eligibility criteria and selection process of the same mentioned below. 

  • For UG courses, candidates must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from CBSE/ISC/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board. 
  • Candidates appearing for Class 12 are also eligible to apply.
  • For PG Courses, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream or discipline from a recognized institute/university.
  • Candidates in their final year of college are also eligible to apply for PG admissions.
  • Candidate's selection to UG courses will be based on IDAT and IMAT scores. 
  • Candidate's selection to the PG courses will be done based on the scores obtained in IDAT and IMAT followed by the interview.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) at iiad.edu.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the IIAD UG, PG Admission 2023 Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.

IIAD Entrance Exam 2023  

IIAD entrance exam is a two-hour and thirty minutes written test where the candidates are usually evaluated on their drawing and design skills, imaginative and creative expression, observation skills, as well as communication and visual strengths.
