New Delhi: The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released an official circular stating that the ICSE and ISC Semester 2 Exam 2022 will be conducted in the last week of April.
In the circular, the CISCE Board Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon has also stated that the detailed subject-wise timetable for ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 exams will be released soon on the official website, cisce.org.
ICSE, ISC Semester 2 Exam 2022: Information on Pre-Board Exams
The official circular has also informed about the upcoming pre-board examinations. The official notice available on the main website also reads information about the dates for the semester 2 exams.
“This will provide schools sufficient time to both complete and revise semester 2 portions of the bifurcated and reduced syllabus”, as stated regarding the exam dates announced by CISCE.
ICSE Class 10 Board Exam Pattern and Syllabus
In accordance with this, the board has further proposed schools to conduct the semester 2 pre-board exams only after they complete the coverage of the entire syllabus and also revise the syllabus thoroughly.
Tentatively, the board has decided to set the timeline between March-end and April for conducting the Pre-Board Exams and schools have been asked to abide by this guideline.
ICSE, ISC Semester 2 Exam 2022 Dates
In addition to the latest circular, the students should expect the ICSE and ISC Exams to begin from the last week of April and continue for the next month, i.e. May end. The detailed subject-wise datesheet for the ICSE and ISC Semester 2 Exams will be known soon. The datesheet will be available on the official website.
Last year, the result was declared in July. This year too, it is expected to release during that time. The final exam score will be calculated after combining the semester 1 and semester 2 exam scores. Candidates will be termed as ‘passed’ or ‘failed’ during the final result.
ISC Class 12 Exam Pattern and Syllabus
To qualify successfully, students need to receive 33% marks in each subject. In case the subjects are divided into theory and practical sections, they need to pass in each section separately.
