How is the AIEEA PG 2020 Result Compiled?

Candidates can check below how the results of AIEEA PG 2020 are compiled:

AIEEA PG 2020 Scorecard: Candidates can check the personal declaration of the marks in the form of the AIEEA PG 2020 scorecard. The scorecard shall have the marks of the candidates in the subjects for which they appeared in the examination, as well as the overall merit. Candidates can check their standardised marks in the scorecard if their paper was held in multiple sessions and a raw score if the paper was not held in multiple sessions.

Overall Merit-Ranking List: next, an overall merit ranking list will also be drawn up. This includes the names of the candidates selected for online counselling and the allocation of seats. This merit list shall be drawn up separately for each major group of subjects. The rank shall be assigned to the candidates according to the marks of the candidates in the entrance examination. The more the marks, the better the rank. In the event that 2 or more candidates obtain the same marks, the tie-breaking criteria shall be applied.

Candidates can check below how the standardisation of the marks is done for the score. The process is called the Percentile Score Standardization Procedure.

Percentile Score or NTA Score: these are scores based on the relative performance of all those appearing for the examination. Essentially, the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each examination session. The Percentile Score shows the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or below the candidate.
