A review meeting was held by HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to discuss the ‘Synchronized Calendar’ for DU Admissions and CBSE Board Results 2020.

Nishank posted a tweet regarding the meeting held and assured that the Ministry is committed to the health and quality of the education.

Earlier Delhi University had extended the last date to submit the applications for UG. PG and Ph.D. courses until July 18, 2020. On the other hand, CBSE is expected to declare CBSE class 10 and CBSE class 12 results by July 15, 2020.

Earlier CBSE was to conduct the remaining board examinations but faced opposition and a petition filed against the Board which stated that it was not safe to conduct the exams following the pandemic situation. Henceforth, the board had to announce an alternative scheme of assessment.

The Board had also reduced the syllabus for class 9 to 12 due to the countrywide lockdown situation.

Whereas DU with respect to the CBSE students takes the results from the board for an easy application process for the students applying for the UG courses.
