New Delhi: Hidayatullah National Law University has established the HNLU Academic Assistance and Internship Program (HAAI) for its students and those of other law schools.
As reported by Live Law, Prof.(Dr.) V.C.Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU, stated, "The HAAI programme will provide students with numerous opportunities to hone their skills in teaching, research, and advocacy, and will also cater select non-HNLU applicants in Internship and Research Assistance."
Regarding HNLU's HAAI,
By immersing students in academic activities and internships with a full-time HNLU faculty member, the programme will likely create personal and professional student benefits. HAAI exemplifies the spirit of collaboration between HNLU's staff and students. The programme shall include a variety of academic pursuits.
It consists of three parts: Teaching Assistance, Research Assistance, and Internship. Senior students from the 4th and 5th years of UG and LL.M. students will assist HNLU full-time faculty members with pre-defined academic tasks when the Teaching Assistance programme is implemented in January 2023.
The Teaching Assistance Program is currently accepting submissions. In May 2023, the Research Assistance Program will be introduced, allowing any student enrolled in a legal programme at a recognized institution to assist a faculty member of HNLU with research activities related to research publication and minor/major research projects.
The Student Internship Program is anticipated to commence in July 2023. It will offer internships to any student enrolled in a recognized course at a recognized institution of higher education.
They may complete an internship with a faculty member in the library or other departments at HNLU for a period determined by the university.
