The Hindu College alumni have contributed a sum of ₹44.29 lakh to the college for establishing a multimedia studio in the campus premises.
According to a statement from the Old Students' Association (OSA) of the Hindu College, the donated amount of INR 44.29 lakhs will be used to set up a multimedia studio, which will be established in the new Research Block in the college.
Ravi Burman, President of the Old Students' Association, Hindu College (OSA), Delhi, said that in today's fast-paced world, when the entire world is empowering its citizens through information and technology, the skills and ability of the youngsters of any college also creates a significant impact.
The students of Hindu College are commendable and disciplined, with their innovative research and hard work, they're on a mission to make India a force to reckon with, he said.
Further, he said that the executive committee of the Old Students' Association (OSA) of the Hindu College had planned to donate an amount of INR 44.29 lakh to the college for setting up a multimedia studio in the Hindu college premises.
Burman said that the establishment of the multimedia studio will be advantageous for the Hindu College students in their pursuit of creative excellence.
It has been mentioned in the statement that during the academic year 2021-22, the OSA has paid out the OSA principal PC Verma Pandemic Relief Study Grant to 110 students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category in the college that adds up to INR 17.74 lakh.
