Gujarat High Court has issued a notice to the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University regarding the overtime in the entrance test.
The notice was sent after a few of the students missed their GFSU online entrance exam for the MSc course, as they were simultaneously writing their Gujarat University final year offline exams.
The students who missed their exam approached the HC so that GFSU will give another chance to reappear for the online entrance exam.

A final year student of GU, Zeekavul Chhapiya who had applied for the MSc course in GFSU had to appear for the scheduled entrance exam on September 18, 2020.
However, on the very same day, GU had also conducted its offline exam for the 6th semester at the very same time.
Both GU and GFSU had scheduled their respective exam at 3 PM. Unfortunately, Chhapiya had to skip the GFSU entrance exam, to take up the GU final year exams.

Therefore, Chhapiya approached HC and sought the help of advocate Chetan Pandya demanding another chance to take up the GFSU entrance exam.
According to the reports, GFSU was well aware of the GU final year exam schedule and could have avoided the clashing of time by rescheduling the GFSU online entrance exam.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Justice A C Rao issued a notice to GFSU after hearing Chhapiya's plea and posted the further hearing to another date on October 29, 2020.
Along with the Plea of Chhapiya, another plea by the student named Priyanka, who also happens to skip the GFSU entrance exam. Their plea will be heard on October 29, 2020.
