New Delhi: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa will shortly begin the application process for the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2023 from April 10. The exam is conducted for admissions to Degree courses in streams of engineering, pharmacy, architecture, Dentistry, etc. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal @dte.goa.gov.in.
Candidates who have qualified the GCET 2023 exam will be eligible to get admission in the government and private engineering and Pharmacy colleges of Goa.
However, admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS(Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences, B.V.Sc.& A.H. and Nursing courses will be done through NEET UG scores.
Meanwhile, Candidates intending to appear for GCET 2023, must apply till April 20, 2023. The state-level entrance exam is scheduled to be held between May 13 and 14, 2023 and the GCET 2023 results will be declared on May 22, 2023.

GCET 2023 Registration: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking to appear for the entrance exam must have to fulfil the GCET 2023 eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must be an Indian citizen. However, NRI/OCI/PIO candidates are also allowed to apply under the NRI category.
- Candidates must have passed class 12th intermediate or its equivalent exam studying Physics and Mathematics with one following subject Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Technical Vocational as mandatory subjects by scoring at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST category).
- Candidates must have a valid NATA 2023 score to be eligible for admission in Architecture courses.
- NEET UG 2023 scores will be required for medical & dental courses.
GCET 2023 Registration: Exam Pattern
As per the GCET 2023 exam pattern, the exam will be conducted in offline mode for a duration of two hours. Each paper will consist of 75 multiple choice questions and one mark will be awarded for every correct answer, there's no negative marking in the exam.

Candidates can go through the following steps for GCET 2023 Registration.
Step 1: Go to the official application portal of DTE Goa @dte.goa.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, search for the registration link and register yourself after filling all the required details.
Step 3: Now, you will be redirected to the login page, where you can use your registration credentials and fill the Application form.
Step 4: Now, pay the requisite application fee and submit the application form.
Step 5: You can take a print out of the application form for all your future references.
