The Directorate of Technical Education (DTU), Government of Goa has declared that Goa Common Entrance (GCET) Test will be conducted on May 4 and 5, 2021. The state level examination will help in the admission process for BTech and BPharm courses.

GCET 2021 is conducted for various professional degrees in engineering and pharmacy. The GCET Score will be used to offer admission in government or aided engineering colleges in Goa. The exams are conducted by DTE Goa and will be for the duration of 2 hours.

Candidates who are going to appear for BPharm are not required to appear for the mathematics exam. The Goa State Board will be releasing an information guide for the candidates which will provide the clear details of the exam.

The conducting body will be preparing the total 75 number of questions from +2 board science subjects. Candidates need to score a minimum 45% of There is no negative marking in the exam.

GCET 2021 exam will be conducted at authorized centres with proper covid-19 regulations where only registered candidates will be allowed inside the exam facility with their hall ticket.

The Government of Goa has kept a reservation policy for quota students as well where the students will be given seats accordingly. To apply for the exam candidates are required to pay the application fee of INR 2000 by online mode only. 

Once the results are announced by the DTE will then start the counselling process for the new session.
