Goa Directorate of Technical Education has begun the counselling process for GCET 2020. Students eligible for the GCET 2020 online counselling process are advised to visit the official website to complete the online registration process.

As per the dates provided by DTE, Goad, GCET 2020 Counselling for the various programmes will be conducted until 29 November 2020. Candidates eligible for GCET 2020 on-line counselling are advised to report on counselling in accordance with the different timeframes provided.

Candidates can check the complete counselling schedule on the official website-dte.goa.gov.in. 

GCET 2020 Counselling Procedure

Candidates must note that only those who have been admitted to the First Round who wish to change the institution/course, who do not have a seat in the First Round will be eligible for in-person counselling. It should also be noted that those candidates wishing to take EWS and TFW seats should submit a copy of their EWS certificate and the Income Certificate, respectively, during the round. Applicants are required to report on the merits secured and the schedule provided for the merit list for the counselling process.

Candidates applying for an online counselling process must note that in order to confirm admission through GCET 2020, candidates are required to complete a document verification process and to submit a fee. Candidates must note that the allocation will be made on the basis of the merits secured by the students, the preferences entered and the availability of seats.

Goa DTE has previously released a list of candidates for the GCET 2020 seat allocation for the first round, along with a reporting schedule for the counselling process.
