GATE 2023

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur will release the GATE 2023 cutoff for all 29 subjects along with GATE 2023 Result on March 16, 2023. Once released, candidates can check the GATE branch wise cut-off and result status on the official website at iitk.ac.in.

The cut-off for GATE 2023 is based on different factors which includes the total number of seats available for admission, number of candidates appearing for the exam, difficulty level of GATE question paper and category under which applicants are seeking admission.

Based on the cut-off list released by the exam authority, candidates are allotted MTech and PhD seats in GATE score-accepting colleges, which include top IITs and NITs. The exam score is also considered by public sector companies for recruiting engineers in entry-level positions.

As per GATE 2023 Exam Dates, the exam authority is conducting the aptitude test on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023. Soon after the exam commencement, the response sheet will be released on February 15 and the answer key will be published on February 21, 2023.

GATE exam is conducted every year by IISc Banglore and seven IITs on behalf of NCB-GATE. Based on marks secured in the entrance test and GATE cut-off, candidates are selected for admission to MTech/ PhD programs offered at participating colleges and institutes in India.
