As per the official notification, the GATE-JAM office, which conducts the Graduate Aptitude Test and Joint Admission Test has opened the official website for 2021 enrollment. It is an official portal through which candidates apply for GATE and JAM entrance examinations. The application process for GATE 2021 and JAM 2021 will begin soon. 

While the online portal has been opened, the official schedule has not yet been released by the GATE-JAM office. So, the aspirants are advised to regularly check the official website to get updates on the dates and other important information for GATE and JAM Applications 2021.

It is also advised that students should not heed to any unverified news on social media, as they are found to be false. Every year, the GATE and JAM entrance exams are conducted in eight zones across the country jointly by IISc Bangalore and one of the seven IITs viz. IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur on a rotational basis. 

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted for shortlisting the candidates for admission into postgraduate courses in science and engineering stream. Shortlisted candidates are also eligible for scholarships from the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. GATE Scores are also accepted by several other institutions as well as PSUs for selecting the aspirants. GATE 2021 will be conducted by IIT Bombay. 

Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is conducted for selecting students for admission into various Postgraduate degree courses including MSc, MSc-PhD Dual Degree, Joint MSc-PhD, and other postgraduate programs. These programs are offered at the participating IITs as well as the Integrated Ph.D. Programmes offered by the IISc Bangalore.IIT Kanpur conducted JAM 2020 on February 09, 2020. While JAM 2021 will be conducted by IISc Bangalore.
