New Delhi: To ensure smooth travel of GATE registered applicants, the Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has recently released a GATE 2022 Travel Pass on its official website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
Candidates who are preparing to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2022, or JAM 2022 exam can now download the travel pass released by IIT Kharagpur to ensure a smooth traveling experience.
The pass is valid for only those GATE 2022 candidates who have registered for February 05, 2022 examination and for JAM 2022 exam, which is scheduled to be held on February 12, 2022. The exam will be held offline in various exam centers across the country.
The travel pass for exam candidates has been released in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation in the country, and restrictions caused by it in some states on the weekends, said IIT Kharagpur.

GATE 2022 Travel Pass: How to Download Online?
To check and download the GATE 2022 Travel Pass released by IIT-K, follow the step-by-step guide given below!
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Kharagpur GATE website at https://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the login option available and enter the details as required.
Step 3: Click on the latest “GATE 2022 Travel Pass” link available.
Step 4: Read the notice with care and download the same for exam use.

As per the notice, with the travel pass, candidates will be able to facilitate movements from one place to another without worrying about Covid-19 restrictions. In order to permit the travel, candidates will also have to show their GATE 2022 Admit Card along with the travel pass.
Earlier, to ensure the smooth commencement of the examination, IIT Kharagpur has released GATE 2022 Exam Day Guidelines for students to check. Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to follow the guidelines to avoid any last minute error.
