New Delhi: In the latest FT EMBA 2022 Ranking released by Financial Times, two Indian Institutes - the Indian School of Business (ISB) and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore have secured their positions among the top institutes in the world.
As per the rankings, the Indian School of Business (ISB) has gained 44th rank as the top Indian School. Followed by ISB, the leading IIM of India, IIM Bangalore has secured its position as the second ranked Indian Institute with an overall rank of 86 in the FT EMBA 2022 Ranking.
Globally, Hong-Kong based Kellogg/HKUST Business School has been placed in the first position, followed by Ceibs (from China/ Switzerland/ Ghana) in second, Tsinghua University in third, HEC Paris in fourth and ESCP Business School in fifth ranking.
While comparing the data, ISB has retained its position as the top Indian school in FT EMBA Ranking in 2021 as well as in the 2022 session. Last year, the institute was globally ranked 68 and it has improved to 44th rank in the global rankings for the current session.
In the 2021 session, the Indian School of Business (ISB) was the only Indian Institute that made it to the list of top global institutes in FT EMBA 2021 Rankings. The institute has improved its overall rankings as well as its average salary of 315,550 with an increase of 66 per cent.
On the other hand, IIM Bangalore did not make it on the list last year. However this year, the institute has been placed among the top 86 institutes in the global rankings. It has also recorded an increase of 67 per cent in its average salary, which is currently at 222,615 (in USD).
In addition to this, NIRF Rankings 2022 have been released for the top business school category, in which IIM Ahmedabad has retained its first rank. In the list, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta are in second and third rank respectively. The IIMs have secured their top rankings in NIRF Rankings since 2020.
