New Delhi: EFL University has begun the application process for its part-time courses for select foreign languages for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @www.efluniversity.ac.in, by October 10, 2022. 

EFL University offers a gamut of part-time courses in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to the certificate, and diploma, advanced diploma programmes can submit their applications till October 10, 2022. 

Admission to these part-time courses will be made on the basis of an Entrance Test conducted by the university, which will consist of written and oral tests. However, there is no entrance test for the Certificate of Proficiency Courses. Further, the duration of these part-time courses will be two semesters.

EFL University Part-time Admission 2022: Highlights 

The Certificate of Proficiency courses will be offered in the hybrid (online and offline)

mode. Candidates will have the option to choose between face-to-face mode or online mode. Once the mode (face-to-face or online) is selected, a candidate cannot switch modes (i.e., online to face-to-face mode, or vice versa).

The Diploma, the Advanced Diploma and the Diploma in Translation (Arabic) courses will be offered at the EFLU campus, Hyderabad, in person, through face-to-face mode. 

EFL University Part-time Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Certificate of Proficiency (CoP) in foreign languages:

• CoP courses (except CoP in Arabic): qualification of Class X/SSLC/SSC or its equivalent recognized by the Government of India.
• CoP in Arabic: Qualification of Class X/SSLC/SSC or its equivalent recognized by the Government of India. 
• The candidates should have completed a preliminary course in Arabic and must be able to read and write in Arabic. 

Eligibility criteria for Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Diploma in Translation (Arabic) Courses: 

• Candidates who have successfully completed the Certificate of Proficiency course (in the foreign language concerned) from the EFL University (EFLU) with a ‘C’ grade or above
•  Candidates who have completed two semesters of B.A. (Hons.) English (I year) from EFLU (with the foreign language concerned as an optional subject) with a ‘C’ grade or above.
• All other candidates (with a minimum qualification of Class X/SSLC/SSC or its equivalent recognized by the Government of India) are required to appear for an entrance test. 

Eligibility Criteria for Advanced Diploma Course:

• Candidates must have completed the Diploma course from EFLU (in the foreign language concerned) with a ‘C’ grade or above.
• Candidates who have completed four semesters of B.A. (Hons.) English (II year) from EFLU (with the foreign language concerned as an optional subject) with a ‘C’ grade or above.
• All other candidates (with a minimum qualification of Class X/SSLC/SSC or its equivalent recognized by the Government of India 

Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Translation (Arabic) Course:

• Candidates must hold an Advanced Diploma in Arabic course from EFLU with a ‘C’ grade or above. However, candidates should possess good knowledge of literary Arabic and written English.
• All other candidates (with a minimum qualification of Class X/SSLC/SSC or its equivalent recognized by the Government of India) are required to appear for an entrance test. 

EFL University Part-time Admission 2022: Selection Process

Candidate's selection to the certificate, diploma, and advanced diploma courses will be made on the basis of the scores in the entrance test. The following students are required to take the entrance test for Diploma,

Advanced Diploma and Diploma in Translation (Arabic) courses:

• EFLU candidates who have scored a ‘D’ grade in the eligibility course
• EFLU candidates who wish to seek admission to a higher level course in the language concerned after a gap of one year.
• Non-EFLU candidates. 

EFL University Part-time Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of EFL University @www.efluniversity.ac.in

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3; Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
