DU Admission 2021: Delhi University affiliated college, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has recorded the highest cut-off for B.Com Admission session 2021-2022. With a cut-off of 100% for honours courses, the university has passed its highest cut-off record of 2011.
As per DU First Cut-off 2021 release, Delhi University has recorded the cut-off range in between 97% and 100% in all its affiliated colleges. Out of a total of 54 commerce programs offering colleges, 38 colleges have recorded a cut-off of 98% or more for the B.Com admission.
Referring to the highest cut-off released by SRCC, the principal, Simrit Kaur said, “We have more students getting 100% this year. For our college, a score of above 99% is usually taken into consideration for admission. Thus, a high cutoff was expected this year".
Delhi University on Friday released the first admission cut-off for various merit-based undergraduate courses for all students to check and download on its official website at du.ac.in.
In addition to the highest cut-off released for B.Com, the Delhi University affiliated colleges have also recorded the highest cut-off for BA Honours in Economics. Colleges have announced a 100% cutoff for the BA Economics Honours program for admission session 2021-2022.
In 38 Delhi University colleges where BA (Hons) Economics courses are offered, a total of 25 colleges have recorded their cut-off between 98 percent to 100 percent. The majority of colleges have recorded the cut-off for the BA program at 97 percent or more.
While talking about North Campus’s Hansraj College B.Com cut-off release, which stood at 99.7% for DU Admission 2021, principal Rama Sharma said, “Commerce aspirants are more likely to go to SRCC and, hence, the college did not keep the cutoff for the course at 100%,".
As for Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, the college has recorded a 100% cut-off for B.Com admission. Referring to the same, Principal Jaswinder Singh stated that the colleges stood among the few colleges that have declared a high cut-off for admission sessions.
With the release of DU Admission Cut-off 2021, students who made it to the cut-off list can apply for further admission process from October 04, 2021. The last date for DU Admission 2021 based on the first cut-off release is October 06, 2021, till 11:59 pm.
After the submission of the admission form for Delhi University Admission 2021, the colleges will submit their approval by October 07, 2021. Candidates must note that the last date to submit the fee payment is October 08, 2021, by 5 pm.
Those who could not meet the first cut-off list criteria can now wait for the release of DU Second Cut-off Release 2021. The cut-off will be made available on October 09, 2021.
