October 17, 2020: Delhi University affiliated colleges are more likely to release the 2nd cut off on October 17, 2020 (today) on the official websites of DU affiliated colleges. 

Earlier, the fee submission dates for the round 1 admissions in Delhi University was closed on October 16, 2020. Now students are eagerly waiting for the release of DU 2nd cutoff. 

As per the Delhi University Cutoff release schedule, the varsity is more likely to release its awaited second cut off today (October 17, 2020). 

Delhi University’s second round admission process will begin on October 19, 2020, at 5 pm. The application window for the same will be closed on October 21, 2020. The last date to pay the application fee for the second admission process is October 23, 2020, at 11:59 pm.

After the release of Delhi University first cut off for 2020 admission, a total of 59,730 candidates applied for the admission. Out of which, 34, 814 paid the application fee, and 6,394 candidates were approved for the admission. 

Delhi University affiliated colleges will release their individual cut off list for the second round admission on their official website. The Cutoff will be released for the science, arts, and commerce programs of colleges. 

DU second cut off 2020: Popular Courses Unlikely to be Offered by Colleges

During the Delhi University admission process of the first round, the admission seats for popular courses were almost filled. Some of the colleges of DU have almost completed admission in some of its programs and courses. 

Likewise, most DU affiliated colleges such as Ramjas College, Hindu College, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Hansraj College, Lady Shri Ram College For Women, etc. have already filled the admission seats for popular programs.

It is to be noted that seats for popular programs of Delhi University like History, Politics, English, Maths, and Science are highly unlikely to be offered by the affiliated colleges. 

DU second cut off 2020: Change College or Course without Withdrawing Admission

Candidates who failed to get admission in the first admission round of Delhi University are now waiting for the release of DU 2nd cutoff. For those who managed to get admission in during the first admission round of DU have the option to change their course or college within DU. 

To do so, candidates need to fill the cancellation form available at the online platform of Delhi University. After filling up and submitting the course/college form, students need to pay a cancellation fee of INR 100/- to complete the process.

Moreover, it will give the students an option to select their desired program and colleges. To choose the desired program/college, students must log in to the DU admission portal and select their desired course or program according to the merit list release. 

After the completion of the cancellation process, students will be called for the document verification process. Candidates fee made in the first admission round of DU will be adjusted after a deduction of INR 1000 in their fresh admission course.
