Delhi University today conducted its first test of the phase 1 of mock tests for the Open Book Exam which is scheduled from July 27-29,2020. 

The Mock OBE has been released for all the final year candidates of Delhi University, SOL and NCWEB. who will be appearing for the exams scheduled from August 10-31, 2020.

The mock test have been divided into 3 shifts-

  • 7.30 AM-10.30 AM
  • 11.30AM-2.30 PM
  • 3.30 PM-6.30 PM

Candidates have to appear for the mock tests as per the slot allotted to them for a specific program.

For the completion of the registration procedure of already registered candidates, you need to first of all-

  • Login using their exam roll number and password
  • Non- registered candidates have to register afresh clicking on New Registration button
  • Selecting specific modes like programme name, roll number and mode of exam.

Further, the second phase of mock tests for OBE will commence from August 2,2020.

Initially, the OBE Tests were scheduled to commence from July 1 thereafter July 10 as per UGC guidelines. Then delayed beyond August 15 and shifted to August 17. Now, Finally as per the revised UGC guidelines, they are scheduled between August 10 to 31,2020.

DU OBE Mock Test Day 1: Students faced technical difficulties

After the completion of the first phase of the Mock OBE, many students have complained about the technical glitches that have occurred at many stages while appearing for the DU Mock OBE.

This has created a fearful environment among the final year students with many failing to log in for the test.

According to the students, they are facing a lot of problems during different stages of the exam as some are not able to submit/upload their papers while others faced time issues and a few also faced problems during logging in for the exam.

It must be noted that similar problems were faced by the students during the Mock OBE held on July 4, 2020 as per the previous schedule.
