The Faculty of Medical Sciences, Delhi University has started its MBBS /BDS Admission 2020 Registration process. 

DU FMSC offers admission to candidates who wish to apply for medical programmes such as MBBS, BDS, etc.

The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a full-time course for 4½ years followed by a year of internship training. The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a 4-year course followed by a year of internship training. 

DU FMSC will conduct the admissions 2020 process for the above-said courses on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidates in the NEET 2020 examination. 

DU FMSC MBBS/BDS Admission 2020: How to register? 

Candidates can go through the below-mentioned simple steps to register for the DU FMSC MBBS/BDS admission 2020. 

  • Open the browser and visit the official site of DU FMSC @www.fmsc.ac.in
  • Click on the link of Register Here--DU FMSC MBBS/BDS Admission 2020, available on the homepage 
  • On the login page, fill in the details asked 
  • After successful registration, login using your “registered email-id” and “password” to fill the online application form
  • Scrutinize all the details in the application form and hit the submit button

DU FMSC MBBS/BDS Admission 2020: Eligibility Criteria

Maximum Age: 17 years - 25 years 

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with mandatory Subjects like PCBiology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized institution within Delhi 

Candidates are required to obtain at least 50% marks or equivalent in the NEET UG examination to be eligible to apply for the DU FMSC MBBS/BDS examination. 

DU FMSC MBBS/BDS 2020: Application Form

Candidates who wish to register for the MBBS/BDS courses can visit the official site of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) @mbbsadmission.du.ac.in. Candidates are required to submit their personal details, mobile number, and mail address. 

Candidates whose names are featured on the seat allotment list will only be able to apply for the admissions and fill the DU FMSC MBBS/BDS application form at the official site of FMSC, DU@fmsc.ac.in 

DU FMSC MBBS/BDS 2020: Application Fee Details 

After successful submission of the DU FMSC application form, Candidates are required to pay the application fee. The amount of the DU FMSC application fee is as follows,

Apart from the application fee, Candidates are required to upload the scanned copies of photographs, signature, and thumb impression. 

DU FMSC authorities will release the merit list on the website @du.ac.in, after the submission of the application form. Later, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process. 

Candidates who fail to pay the application fee will not be considered for any further admission process.

DU FMSC MBBS/BDS Admission 2020: Counselling Process 

The counselling process for the 85% of the Delhi Quota will be done through the online mode by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. 

  • Candidates have to compulsorily fulfil a the requirements for registration of counseling as declared by the MCC, at its official website @www.mcc.nic.in 
  • Admission of the candidates to the DU FMSC MBBS/BDS programmes will be strictly based on the merit obtained in the NEET-UG 2020 exam and the allotment of the online counselling process. 
  • Candidates have to compulsorily follow the counselling process guidelines issued by MCC, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India. 
  • The DU FMSC or the MCC will not send the information related to the admission or counselling process by post. They're advised to keep checking the MCC website for the latest updates.
  • Lastly, MCC will conduct a final mop-up round, in which the left over/vacant seats will be filled. 

Candidates who are going to appear for the final mop-up have to produce their original documents to the respective authorities for verification purposes.
