The schedule for second round of online counselling of Diplomate of National Board Centralised Entrance Test (DNB CET) and Postgraduate Centralised Entrance Test (PDCET) has been released by National Board of Examinations (NBE).

In order to grant admission in sponsored seats, candidates need to participate in the counselling process. Those who are eligible to apply will have to get them registered from the official website and have to fill the preferences of DNB seats during the registration process.

Applicants who will be shortlisted and allotted any DNB seats will be required to join and report at the allotted college to complete the admission procedure.

DNB PDCET and CET Counselling 2020 Schedule

Counselling Procedure for Online sponsored DNB seats (CET and PDCET)

• Eligible candidates have to log in to their application portal using their credentials at cns.natboard.edu.in.

• Applicants need to make the choice filling for online counselling.

• The result of the allotment letter will be declared on the basis of various factors such as merit rank, availability of seats, preferences of colleges as well as specialities, etc.

• It is must to pay the one-year course fee of Rs. 1,25,000/- (excluding payment gateway charges).

• After the payment of course fee, respective DNB seats will be freezed in favour of the candidate.

• Candidates will have to download the allotment letter and visit the allotted hospital to join the seat.

• Also it is required to get the documents verified in original. 

• After the documents verification, admission will be granted to the sponsored DNB CET & PDCET seats.

Candidates who have been allotted seats through the counselling will be offered admission to 2,256 post-MBBS and 1,856 PDCET seats offered in 1,038 and 942 hospitals and colleges across the country. 

DNB PDCET and CET counselling - Submission of Undertaking and NOC

Aspirants must note that the final round of the two rounds of counselling will be held, and NBE will not conduct any other round of counseling for the sponsored seats. Candidates who were unable to participate in round one consultation of sponsored seats due to non-submission of the undertaking and NOC are required to submit their undertaking and NOC in the format prescribed by the authorities.

However, candidates who submitted their undertaking and NOC but did not comply with the prescribed format will have to submit their undertaking before the last date of August 31, 2020. Candidates who fail to submit an undertaking and NOC will be considered ineligible to participate in the second round of counselling for DNB sponsored seats.
