New Delhi: The NEET-PG-CPS-2021 institutional level round schedule has been released by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER Maharashtra) for government, private unaided, and corporate colleges and hospitals.

According to the DMER Maharashtra announcement, all the institutes that are involved will be able to fill their vacant seats and register for the Mop Up Round between November 28 and December 2, 2022. 

The Maharashtra state government has approved the method of CPS seat allocation, which allows students to be placed in appropriate institutions based on their merit for the academic session 2021-22. 

The candidates must note that the seats are still vacant following the amended, extended personal counselling round of CPS and that the institutional round is only for government /private unaided colleges and hospitals.

Eligibility: 

  1. Candidates who have not yet received admission status as of November 27, 2022 for the institutional level round will be eligible. 
  1. Even if a candidate's name appears on the list of eligible candidates, the institute will be responsible for verifying and determining the candidate's eligibility in accordance with the relevant Central Council rules before admitting the candidate.

Instruction to the Candidates:

  1. In order to apply for vacant seats in the institutional round, qualified candidates should visit the Dean or Principal of the relevant colleges or hospitals within the allotted time frame. Such applications should not be emailed or delivered in person to the Directorate of Medical Education & Research. Such applications will not be accepted for consideration during any institutional admissions process if they are submitted to the Directorate of Medical Education & Research.
  1. A candidate should submit all of his original documents and the required fees in the form of a DD/Cheque during the allotted time frame at the time of admission during the institutional round.
  1. Candidates are solely responsible for providing all original documentation and required fees at the time of admission.
  1. Candidates who are unable to submit DDs because of a bank holiday may pay the fees by check and replace the original on the following bank working day.

Instruction to the Colleges: 

  1. The college/Institution should establish a committee of four members, chaired by the dean or principal, to oversee the admission process for admission at the Institution level round.
  1. The college must post all vacant positions, applicant lists, merit lists, lists of chosen candidates, and waiting lists on its website and notice boards by no later than December 2nd.
  1. If there are two PG seats available in the State quota for the same subject (one in Reserve and the other in Open Category), the earmarking regulations should be followed. 
  1. If any reserve category seats remain unfilled, the inter-se rule must be strictly adhered to. For additional information, candidates should consult the NEET PG CPS 2021 informational pamphlet.
  1. The College must upload the data regarding accepted candidates to the DMER College Feedback Module.
  1. As soon as the admission completion report is finished, all concerned institutes must notify DMER and CPS. According to the informational pamphlet on the NEET PG CPS 2021 Rules, all institution admissions must be completed.
