New Delhi: Director of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu has released the seat matrix for vacant admission seats available for admission to MSc Nursing courses in government colleges in the state. As per the notice, there are a total of 13 vacant seats for session 2022-23.

As per the notice, candidates who wish to apply for admission to the MSc Nursing course in medical colleges in Tamil Nadu are required to meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants can check the detailed seat matrix by visiting the official website at tnmedicalselection.net.

The MSc Nursing course is offered for a duration of 2 years to all eligible candidates. Admission to this course is made in an online mode counselling conducted by the government of Tamil Nady and as per the terms and conditions released by the government. 

Candidates who wish to apply for MSc Nursing Admissions 2022-23, candidates need to have a BSc Nursing Degree or equivalent qualifications from Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University or any recognised university/educational institution. 

To be eligible for MSc Nursing admission seats, applicants need to have at least 50 % marks or equivalent grade scores in the qualifying examination. While applicants who are from SC, SCA or ST categories are required to have a minimum of 50% marks to apply for admission. 

In addition to this, BSc Nursing graduates must have completed one year of working experience after Basic BSc Nursing or have a year of experience before completing their graduation in any nursing college or hospital or community health center in any state council.

At the time of admissions, candidates who are shortlisted for admission seats are required to declare in the form provided that they are liable for forfeiture of selection or admission if suppression of facts is found at any time during the admission to the MSc course.

In addition to this, the selection committee of the Director of Medical Education has published the seat matrix for MPT courses, MPharma degree courses, Diploma in Nursing courses and paramedical degree courses in government colleges in Tamil Nadu for session 2022-23.
