New Delhi: Director of Medical Education (DME), Gujarat has released the schedule for round 1 NEET UG Counselling 2022 on its official website at medadmgujarat.org. As per the schedule, the second round of choice filling will commence from November 15 to 21, 2022.

All applicants, including those listed on the ACPUGMEC Merit List, may partake in the second round counselling process for NEET UG 2022 regardless of the student's admission status in the first round. 

Candidates must note that those applicants who didn't participate in round 1 of ACPUGMEC and participated directly during round 2 won't be allotted admission to the merit-based seats available in round 1 NEET UG Counselling 2022 allocation process.

To participate in the round 2 counselling process, applicants must log in to their candidate profile through the official website of DME Gujrat at www.medadmgujarat.org with their user ID and password and provide online approval before the given schedule.

As per DME Gujarat, the allocation of seats is determined by merit and choice at institutes authorised by the relevant council. For the choice filling, the candidate can choose a course of study, institution/location, government-funded or self-funded institution, and tuition prices.

Candidates are urged to select all accessible options regardless of the institution's status (permitted/recognized) to gain admission during the NEET UG 2022 round 2 allocation procedure if some institute is granted permission.

During the option filling of round 2 and following rounds, the allotment of seats shall be conducted according to the closure of round 1, regardless of the candidate's selections from round 1. The conclusion of the current round will be published with the allocation result.

If an applicant does not accept admission to the assigned seat, they will not be assigned the same type of seat in the same institute in subsequent rounds of counselling. For the online choice filling, candidates are required to visit the official website at medadmgujarat.org. 

Candidates can unlock and amend their filled options till the date and time specified by ACPUGMEC. If applicants fail to lock their selections, they will be locked immediately on the final day of choice submission.
