What is Smart India Hackathon (SIH)?
SIH is a platform to solve daily lives pressing problems of students, thus inculcating a problem-solving mindset. It is a national level competition conducted for 36 hours non-stop digital product building for software edition.
Who organizes Smart India Hackathon (SIH)?
SIH is jointly organized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

As an award, the DIAT team led by Dr. Sunita Dhavle has been given INR 1 lakh for solving problem statement MS331 in the Software Category posted by MP government. The DIAT team of 6 members has been provided a solution titled "DRISHTI" to recognize face, gesture and expression with the help of AI, informed the Defence Ministry.
