New Delhi: The Central Selection Committee has begun the application process for the Tripura Diploma Engineering Entrance Exam (DEEET) 2023 for the academic session 2023-24. Candidates seeking admission to the diploma courses in Polytechnics in the state can submit the online application form through the official portal @highereducation.tripura.gov.in.
The Central Selection Committee conducts the Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination of Tripura 2023 (DEEET-2023) to grant admission into the Diploma Engineering available seats in the State of Tripura. Aspirants can submit the DEEET 2023 Application Form before the last date, i.e, March 31, 2023.

DEEET Registration 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking to appear for the DEEET 2023 exam will have to meet the requisite DEEET 2023 eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must have passed Madhyamik (Class 10) or equivalent exam from TBSE/CBSE or any other equivalent boards with a minimum of 35% aggregate.
- All the students who have appeared for Class 10 board exams in 2023 are also eligible. They must fulfil all eligibility criteria at the time of document verification and admission.
- There is no maximum age limit to apply.
- They must be a permanent resident of Tripura
DEEET Registration 2023: Exam Pattern
The DEEET 2023 exam will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours and a Compensatory time of 20 min per hour will be allowed to PH candidates. The exam will be conducted through the Optical Marks Recognition (OMR) system. There'll be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 400 marks. Every question carries 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The questions asked in the exam will be in both English and Bengali.
DEEET 2023 is divided into 3 sections, Section-I consists of 160 marks, 160 marks for Section II, and 80 marks for Section III. In Section 2- 80 marks questions will be asked for Physics and 80 marks questions for Chemistry.
