Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @www.hillagric.ac.in.

CSKHPKV offers a gamut of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level degree programmes in various specialisations of Agriculture. Candidates seeking admission to the UG, PG, and PhD programmes can submit their applications till September 30, 2022. 

The institute conducts merit-based admission to the B.Sc. Courses in Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics), Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology & Chemistry), B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science and B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration, at UG level.

CSKHPKV UG, PG, & PhD Admission 2022: Dates

Admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H, B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture, and B.Tech. (Food Technology) are done based on the scores of external entrance exams like NEET (UG)-2022, and AIEEA (UG)-2022.

The institute offers M.Sc. Agriculture, M.V.Sc., M.Sc. Basic Sciences and M.Sc. Community Science courses at PG level, and the Ph.D. Agriculture, Ph.D. Veterinary & Animal Sciences and Ph.D. Community Science) are offered at PhD level. 

CSKHPKV UG, PG, & PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates intending to enroll for admissions into the UG, PG, and PhD courses offered at CSKHPKV will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses (Merit-based) 

• Candidates must have passed class 10+2/Intermediate/ Higher Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by an Education Board/University/Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala /MHRD, New Delhi) with a minimum of 50% marks for General/OBC /EWSs category and 40% for SC/ST in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology with not less than pass marks in each subject. 
• Candidates must have studied PCB (P-Physics, C-Chemistry & B-Biology).
• Any examination of a University/Education Board/College/ School in a foreign country recognized by the University as equivalent for the purpose with good knowledge of English. 

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses: 

• Candidates must hold a M.Sc. Agriculture, M.Sc. Community Science, M.Sc. and M.V.Sc, degree in the applicable subject from a recognized university. 
• Candidates must have a valid AIEEA (PG)-2022 score to be eligible for admission to the PG courses. 

Eligibility Criteria for PhD Course:

• The minimum eligibility qualification for admission to Doctoral programme shall be an OCPA/OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or 3.25/5.00 or 2.60/4.00 or 60% marks (where grade points are not awarded) for Gen./OBC/EWSs category and an OCPA/OGPA of 5.50/10.00 or 2.75/5.00 or 2.20/4.00 or 50% marks (where grade points are not awarded) for SC/ST/Person with Benchmark Disability category at the PG level (as shown against respective discipline) from a university established by law in India.
• Candidate must have a valid score in AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.)-2022 for PhD admissions. 

CSKHPKV UG, PG, & PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's final selections for admissions to the UG, PG, and PhD courses rely on the aggregate marks of the CSKHPKV entrance examination and the results of the qualifying examination, NEET-UG, AIEEA-UG, and AIEEA-PG. 

• The institute also conducts admissions via both online and offline modes in a structured manner.
• The college conducts counselling sessions for the seat allotment which is drawn in the order of merit on the basis of category, depending on the mode of admission of the candidate. 
• Candidate's selection to the PG courses is based on entrance examinations and selection is done on the basis of score of entrance test (60%) and qualifying examination (40%).

Interested candidates can go through the following steps to apply online for admission to the UG, PG, and PhD programmes. 

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of CSKHPKV @www.hillagric.ac.in

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 2000 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
