CMAT 2021 Registration: National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting applications for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2021 from December 31, 2020. Interested candidates can apply till January 30 at  cmat.nta.nic.in / nta.ac.in.

CMAT 2021 is scheduled to be held on February 22 and 27, 2021 in two shifts from 9 am-12 pm and 3 pm-6 pm across 153 exam centres which has been increased from 104 since last year. The entrance exam will offer admission to management programs offered by AICTE affiliated and Participating Institutions. 

As per recent updates, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will also accept CMAT 2021 scores for admission to MBA programs at its affiliated colleges. This is also pertaining to the fact that from 2021, entrance exams for all programs which were offered admissions through UPSEE, will be conducted by NTA.

Additionally, as a new improvement, NTA will follow the normalisation procedure for granting marks. As different sets of papers will be provided in different shifts, chances are high that one shift will get difficulty paper compared to others. To remove chances of disparity, scores will be normalised, and then awarded.

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration.
  • Secured at least 50% marks

  2. On the homepage, click the ‘Apply for CMAT 2021’ link.
  3. Register with required fields.
  4. After registration, fill details in the application form. 
  5. Upload documents in specified formats.
  6. Make payments.
  7. Submit the application form and retain a copy for future reference.

As per COVID-19 pandemic guidelines, candidates have to download the self-declaration form from NTA’s website. Fill it up and submit it to the invigilator while also carrying admit card to the exam venue. They are also permitted to carry transparent ball pens, hand sanitiser, additional photograph, transparent water bottle at the exam centre.
