CLAT-2021, scheduled for June 13, 2021, has been postponed by the Consortium of National Law Universities.
The Committee met on May 15, 2021, and made this decision after reviewing the country's COVID-19 pandemic and considering the health and safety of all CLAT stakeholders. An official announcement has also been made on the official website.
According to the official notice: “On May 15, 2021, the Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met. After reviewing the country's COVID-19 pandemic surge and considering the health and safety of all CLAT stakeholders, the Committee decided.
CLAT-2021, which was supposed to take place on June 13, 2021, has been postponed. The new test date will be announced in due course. In addition, the deadline for submitting an online application has been extended to June 15, 2021. Candidates who want to take CLAT-2021 should keep visiting the website @consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The Consortium of National Law Universities issued a notification last month informing CLAT 2021 applicants that, because the Pandemic situation is currently being monitored, it will take stock of the situation in the first week of May and decide on a date thereafter.
The Consortium announced on March 25th that the deadline for submitting online applications for the CLAT 2021 examination had been extended to April 30th, 2021.
The deadline for submitting online applications was previously set for March 31, 2021.
The CLAT examination, which was originally scheduled for May 9, was rescheduled for June 13 in a notification dated January 6.
According to the notification, students who received 45 percent or higher in their 10+2 exams will be eligible to take the CLAT 2021. For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, the cutoff is 40%.
The application fee for the exam is INR 4,000 (INR 3,500 for SC/ST candidates).
