The Consortium of NLUs has declared the results of CLAT 2020 on its official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in, today, October 5, 2020. 

Candidates who appeared in CLAT 2020, can check their results on the official website by entering the registered mobile number and password. NLU has released the results with the All India Rank (AIR) and category-wise merit list. 

Earlier, the Consortium had released the merit list on October 5, 2020, on the official website as well. CLAT 2020 will offer admission to an undergraduate Law course for colleges that participate in the examination. 

CLAT 2020 Counselling will begin from October 9 and will conclude on October 12 for which the registration will commence from October 6 to October 7.

CLAT 2020 Results: How to Check Online?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check their result for CLAT 2020.

  1. Visit the official website of the CLAT Consortium: consortiumofnlus.ac.in
  2. Click on the CLAT 2020 Result link.
  3. Enter the log-in details i.e. registration number and date of birth.
  4. Click on submit.
  5. Navigate to the ‘Scorecard’ tab already available in your account and click on it.
  6. Check CLAT 2020 score, rank and qualifying status.
  7. Now download the merit list for the future reference in the pdf format.

CLAT 2020: What After the Result?

Once the CLAT Result 2020 is out, the consortium of NLUs will release cutoff marks on the official website and if candidates score more than the cutoff marks, they are eligible to apply for the counselling process.

There will be 3 rounds in the counselling process and candidates can apply by paying counselling fee. In this process, candidates can apply to preferred colleges accepting CLAT score based on the previous cutoff rank and seat availability of the same college

Candidates can apply for the 2 more rounds if they didn’t get the preferred college in the first round. They will have to report to colleges with the required documents and payment slip for the first semester to confirm the seat in the college.

About CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2020:

Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted by 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) annually on a rotational basis. It is a national level exam conducted by the consortium of 22 NLUs. 

With the CLAT score, you can apply for admission in LLB AND LLM courses in 22 NLUs and 43 other law colleges.

Earlier, CLAT 2020 was scheduled to be held in May, but later got postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, candidates will have to pay only 50% fee at the time of admission in different National Law Universities.

The consortium of NLUs had already released provisional marks based on the candidate’s final answer key after receiving lots of objections confirmed by the press released by CLAT.
