The Second mock test for CLAT UG has been released by the Consortium of NLU. While the first Mock test for PG Candidates was released on July 24, 2020. In view of the concerns raised by the students, the Conducting body has improved the online test format this time. Now the Candidates can easily navigate across all sections of the test. Earlier, many students raised queries over the test format and demanded changes after the first mock test. Then the conducting body, in a response to the queries said, that the mock tests are being carried out to familiarize aspirants with the online mode of conduct.

The New format of the online test shows some of the concerns raised by the aspirants. Some of the features of the revised mock tests are mentioned below:
Sectional Navigation is enabled in Current Format
The revised test format allows the aspirants to switch across the five sections of the test. Thus, candidates can now prioritize which section they want to respond to first.
Option to revisit sections or questions is open
The Candidates will now be able to revisit any section or question of the online test. This feature will allow the students to access the answers marked for review. As the old version of the test did not allow the candidates to access the questions marked for review of attempted sections.
Calculator, Zoom in and Zoom Out
The revised format of the test also gives the candidates an option to zoom in and zoom out in the system. This may help them in adjusting the size of characters and words. The system interface is also equipped with a normal calculator where simple calculations can be done.
Sectional Distribution of questions and Marking Scheme
The CLAT UG test consists of five sections. Each section comprises comprehension passages followed by a series of objective type questions. As per the marking scheme, each question will carry one mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
