The consortium of NLUs has decided that the CLAT 2020 DOB correction window will be active till September 26 for candidates to make relevant changes.
The DOB correction portal has been functioning since September 24, 2020. Direct link is provided below.
Meanwhile, Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 will be conducted on September 28. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on September 7, 2020.
Due to COVID-19, the CLAT 2020 exam will be conducted online. Accordingly, exam centres have been increased from 63 to 203 as compared to 2019.

The official notice reads, "It has come to the notice of the CLAT Consortium that a few candidates have entered the wrong date of birth in their application. A feature to update your date of birth has now been made available in your login.
All candidates are notified to update their date of birth if not correct, by midnight of 26th September 2020. Please note that this date of birth is for CLAT records and further processing only and your date of birth will NOT be updated in the admit card.

Exam Pattern
As the mode of the exam has been changed, the exam question pattern is also changed compared to the early years.CLAT 2020 exam will carry more comprehension based questions in all sections for both UG and PG programs.
There will be a total of 120 questions instead of 200 questions. Whereas the duration of the exam remains the same as 2 Hours. The exam paper will consist of five sections namely: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Legal Aptitude.

Each question carries 1 mark and a negative mark of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
SOP’s for CLAT exam centres
Exam centres have to follow the standard operating procedure for the safe conduct of the Common Law Admission Test. Everyone is to thermally scan before entering inside the campus. It is compulsory to wear a Face mask for both students and invigilators.

Norms of Social distancing will be followed strictly during the examination procedure. Candidates are allowed to bring pocket-size hand sanitizers to the examination centre.
Law University classes are likely to function regularly from the first week of November.
