CMI Chennai Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates aspiring to seek admission to BSc. (Hons.) in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science must have passed Class 12 examination in Pure Science Stream from any recognized board
• Candidates desiring admission to M.Sc in Mathematics or Computer Science, need to have an UG degree (B.Sc., BE, BTech.) with strong background in Mathematics or Computer Science
• For admission to MSc in Data Science, they need to have an UG degree (B.Sc., BE, BTech) with strong background in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science
• For admission to PhD. in Mathematics, candidates need to have B.E./ B.Tech/ BSc./ MSc. in Mathematics

CMI Chennai Admission 2022: Selection Process

The applicants for BSc. courses will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the common writing test, followed by an interview

• For PhD Admission, students can qualify the interview by writing the national level exams such as JEST and NBHM
• Students with exceptionally great performance in the National Olympiads in Mathematics, Physics and Informatics will be exempted from writing the BSc common entrance examination
• Students registered for the KVPY-2021 exam, who want to apply to the CMI BSc programme can write a make-up entrance exam on Monday, May 23, 2022. They can fill out the form by April 3, 2022

• Visit the official application portal of CMI.
• Fill out the UG or PG application forms, depending on your desired course
• Register yourself after filling the required details, such as email id 
• Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form
• Pay the application fee of INR 1000/ or INR 1200 (depending on the number of courses you are applying for) and submit the Application form
• Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
