JEE Main 2020 Day 5 has commenced today with Shift 1 already concluded. It will be followed by Shift 2 (3 PM to 6 PM).

Based on the initial student reaction and JEE Main 2020 Paper Analysis for Day 5 Shift 1, the B.Tech/B.E paper was said to be easier than last year while the overall level of difficulty was moderate.

Continuing the trend for JEE Main 2020 September session so far, Physics was the toughest, Mathematics was moderate to difficult and Chemistry was easy in terms of difficulty level.

Students found the questions to be a bit tricky. The options were a bit similar which left them confused.

A student who appeared for the exam in Shift 1 today said that it took time for him to understand questions in the Physics section as they were slightly confusing. Also, some of the questions in the Mathematics section were really difficult to answer while Chemistry were easy.

Another candidate had similar views. She said that Mathematics questions were tricky and time-consuming. Level of difficulty in Physics was moderate to tough as some questions were quite difficult to answer while some were average. Chemistry section was the easiest among the three.

Meanwhile, another candidate who had also appeared for the January session found Mathematics easy while Chemistry to be moderately difficult. She was among the few who found Physics to be easy.

According to the reports, last two days of JEE Main 2020 witnessed an increase in attendance. Centers have been strictly following all the JEE Main 2020 COVID-19 Advisory and exam instructions provided by NTA for the safety of the students.

Based on reports, there is a high possibility of qualifying JEE Main 2020 cutoff being lower for this session. This is because even though there is an increase in attendance, less percentage of students have been reported to have attempted the examination than in previous years
