JEE Main 2020 Day 4 of JEE Main September session papers concluded successfully with the afternoon shift of B.E/B.Tech paper. As per reports from various exam centers, SOPs and COVID-19 advisory for JEE Main 2020 was followed at the centers. 

Based on the initial JEE Main 2020 Paper Analysis by students, the overall exam difficulty level was easy to moderate. Physics was the toughest among the three, Mathematics was easy to moderate while Chemistry was easy.

  • Although easy, Chemistry section was a bit tricky with questions from chemistry in everyday life. There were 6-7 questions from organic chemistry which were easy.
  • Physics questions were concept based on a primary focus on derivations. Major topics were mechanics, magnetism, electrostatics, etc.
  • Mathematics questions were a repetition of questions asked in previous years.
  • Candidates who had appeared for the January 2020 session found the paper to be comparatively easier.

According to Megha a UP Board student, Physics was moderate and she attempted 20 questions. The mathematics and chemistry sections were easy. She added that the questions were a repetition of questions asked in previous years. 

Another student Aman said that the exam for Shift 2 was quite lengthy and time-consuming. He found the Chemistry section to be easy while Physics and Mathematics to be moderately difficult. 

Sweta another student from Delhi shared that for her Chemistry was moderate in difficulty level while Physics was tough and time-consuming.
